The CTS Audio (Log) Pot Short Solid Shaft Vintage Dimple 250k potentiometers are high-quality components designed for precise tone and volume control in electric guitars. Featuring a short 0.250" bushing and a 3/8" diameter, these pots are ideal for pickguard or control plate mounting. Available in 250k for single-coil pickups. The taper of a pot refers to the way its resistance changes as the shaft is rotated. A linear taper pot will work in a linear way related to shaft rotation. As the human ear is not linear in response to increasing volume, an audio (aka. logarithmic) pot will work best for volume applications.
