If you’re accustomed to playing high-end Japanese-made instruments, the likelihood is that you’ve already played an FGN (Fujigen); the company originally built its reputation as an OEM manufacturer for the world’s most respected brands. Now, with their own range of guitars, they exercise creative independence over instrument design, while maintaining their time-won attention to detail.

This piece features Gotoh tuners, an FGN Ashtray style bridge and FGN's own pickup design that gives you some classic tones you'd expect from a tele whilst also adding some warmth with the addition of a humbucker in the neck. Finished in metallic blue, it looks as cool as it is to play.

This guitar has a compound radius fingerboard, a smaller (rounder) radius towards the nut that gradually gets a larger (flatter) radius towards the neck join i.e. similar to the shape of a cone. This allows for much easier chord playing at lower frets while having less stress, especially when bending strings at higher registers.

FGN's J-Standard Fret Edge treatment contributes to much smoother fingering and a sculpted neck heel allows for much greater comfort when playing higher up.

All FGN guitars and basses have a unique Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). It was created by FGN to offer superior pitch accuracy and articulation than conventional frets on guitars and basses. All frets are installed on the fingerboard with a slightly curved shape, so that every string crosses all the frets at 90 degrees, i.e. to offer a minimum contact of string on a fret, and it makes the scale length of every string even where it would vary on conventional fretting. The C.F.S. is a solution of fretting on a traditional guitar and bass and it offers clearer articulation and tones giving you extra dimensions when you play chords and cuts through the mix when you play single notes.
